Dynamic Scenery
If you are directed to land/depart headed west (rwys 26/27) by Hartsfield ATIS, turn
off dynamic scenery. Use runways 08R and 09L for departure/landing, runways 08L and
09R are busy handling arriving aircraft. All other aircraft and moving objects have
right of way, please yield to avoid ground traffic problems.
FREQUENCIES INCLUDED
ATIS:
Hartsfield Int'l 119.65
Fulton Co. 120.17
Dekalb Peachtree 128.40
Dobbins AFB 120.75
Atlanta App. Con. 121.00 (Many more frequencies listed here, all of them valid)
Hartsfield Clnc Del 121.65
Hartsfield Ground Ctrl 121.90
NEA/NCA ATC instr. 136.25
ILS:
ATL 9R 108.90
ATL 9L 110.50
ATL 8R 109.90
ATL 8L 109.30
ATL 27R 111.30
ATL 27L 108.50
ATL 26R 110.10
ATL 26L 108.70
PDK 20L 111.10
FTY 8 109.10
Dobbins AFB 109.70
To use ATC propperly, you must tune to 136.25 a few miles north of PDK VORTAC and when
above Dekalb Peachtree Airport, hit C and follow instructions. Same procedure will be needed
for following ATC messages. I reccomend being at least 6,000 to 9,000 MSL when above PDK
airport.
Taxiways F/L are the ones closer to the Terminal Buildings and main apron (F-north side, L-
south side). Use these taxiways to avoid conflicts with aircraft moving in opposite direction.
DISCLAIMER:
There is NO warranty, guarantee of any kind and I am not liable for any problems on hardware or
software you may encounter while using this file. You use this software at your own risk.
This file has been tested using FS5.1 floppy version only, on a 486/66 DX2, 8Mb RAM, Cirrus
Logic 542X card VLB PC. However I had at least 3 reports of FS5.1 CD-ROM users stating they
didn't experience any problems with the scenery propperly installed.
SPECIAL THANKS:
Manfred Moldenhauer Creator of SCASM and FSOFFS, for his guidelines and hints
H.R. Martin Phills President and CEO NEA, for providing the initial data and idea
Stephen M. Salvador Atlanta resident and beta tester, for his great and challenging
suggestions
Ted Deller For providing a complete set of US approach plates
(Dobbins AFB wouldn't be included otherwise)
Hans vanWyhe For katlexcl.bgl, making this scenery FS5.1 CD compatible
Also, to all those of you who have contributed in expanding our enjoyment of the FS world.
